UPS to hire 650 for holiday season

In preparation for the holiday shipping rush, UPS is looking to beef up its staff. The company says it will hire 50,000 temporary workers to handle shipments this holiday season.

In preparation for the holiday shipping rush, UPS is looking to beef up its staff. The company says it will hire 50,000 temporary workers to handle shipments this holiday season.

About 650 of those jobs will be right here in Indiana. UPS believes it will deliver 430 million packages between Thanksgiving and Christmas. It expects the busiest day for shipping with be the Wednesday before Christmas.
