A Valparaiso sailor is in jail, accused of asking his girlfriend to molest a 3-year-old and send him photos of the crime.
Ryan Schroeder is facing 23 felony charges including aiding in child molestation and possession of child pornography, among other charges.
Schroeder's charges follow the arrest of his ex-girlfriend Tara Tryon. Tryon faces 20 counts of child molestation.
Schroeder is currently being held in Florida, awaiting extradition back to Porter County. The alleged crimes happened before Schroeder became a service member.
