Accused gunman pleads guilty to 2009 Village Pantry murder

An accused killer made a plea deal in a deadly 2009 robbery at a Village Pantry. Bruch Aldrich, 20, agreed to plead guilty in the murder of 62-year-old Becky Hough.

Hough was gunned down while working at the south side convenience store in November of 2009.

Under the agreement, Aldrich will get a 65 year sentence. His attorney said he wanted to avoid a trial because Aldrich is remorseful and wants to put the crime behind him.  The plea deal was approved by the victim's family.

Aldrich's co-defendant goes to trial next week.
