Woman arrested for stealing money from Cub Scout Troop
An Ambia, IN resident was charged in Carroll County with theft from the Cub Scout Troop in Delphi, IN after the new treasurer reported missing funds from the Cub Scout Troop's account.

Indiana State Police Criminal Investigations Division was asked to investigate the theft of approximately $3,000.00 USC which was taken while Jane Alison Popejoy, 38 years old, was Cubmaster and Treasurer of Pack 3165.

Popejoy turned herself in to Carroll County Sheriff's Department on Monday the 9th of November and was released after posting bond. Popejoy has been charged with theft, a class D felony. The charges were filed last week as a result of a seven month investigation.
