Giants, Patriots fans begin arriving at Indianapolis International

Thousands of out-of-towners began arriving at Indianapolis International Airport Thursday.

Thousands of out-of-towners began arriving at Indianapolis International Airport Thursday.

The airport employed a welcoming committee complete with super bowl gear, signage and live music.

It was enough to get the different fans talking about their hopes for the big game.

"We'll be ready to win," said Tom Merrigan, Patriots fan.

Another traveler had his eye on one of Indy's most popular attraction.

"Check out the bricks in the Brickyard and were going to bounce around," said Bill Lyons, Patriots fan.

"The Boston fans will be really nice. I can't speak for my New York brother though," said Larry Begley, Patriots fans.

New york giants fans also landed by the hundreds in the Circle City, minutes after their competition.

"Were from the NSC East and the giants are from NSC East so go  Giants! They beat us we got to root for them," said Ricky Bell, Giants fan.

Charlie Jankowski got hooked up with tickets to his first Super Bowl through a contest.

"We won it through Budweiser. We won four free tickets and we're going for the whole weekend," said Jankowski.

And he's not the only one who won big.

Andy Cheek made the trip with his wife from North Carolina. The two won also won a contest.

"It's been about two weeks. I couldn't sleep the first night really ‘cause it's the biggest prize I've ever won and I'm really lucky," said Cheek.
