Super Bowl festivities available for every price range

The red carpet is about to be rolled out in Indianapolis.

"I think it's fantastic," said Eugene Mauk.

The Super Bowl is coming to town and with it: celebrities, parties and lots of fun.

"Miami, New York, LA it may not be that big a deal. For Midwestern people it's out of their price range for a lot of them," said Jeff Haselhorst.


The cost for tickets to the big game are more than $2,000 for upper level and more than $3,000 for lower level seats. While many can't go to the big game, the internet is already buzzing with Hoosiers trying to find things to do to enjoy the event. For many that means parties.

"I think there is interest there because the tickets are so expensive and the parties are thenext best thing," said Renny Harrison, Fanfare Tickets.

If you're looking to get downtown for the super celebration, there are options in every price range.

Parking is going to cost you no matter what, though. You can shuttle in at $2 or park just outside of downtown for $25. If you want to buy a spot near the stadium spots are going for $150-350 now.

"The party tickets that we have start at $50 for Pepsi Fan Jam and go to $1,000 for the Rolling Stone Party," said Harrison.

The hot parties on the fanfare website: Maxim and Rolling Stone. Not everything will cost you big dollars. Georgia Street is free. If you agree to be a part of the TV audience the Pepsi Fan Jam is also free. The zip line is $10 and the NFL Experience is $25 for adults and $20 children.
Harrison suggests if you really want to go, keep watching and keep shopping.  

"Prices are always changing. If it doesn't fall into your price range always check back in the week.

"I plan to be selective of what i do and don't do," said Haselhorst.

For the Hoosiers we spoke to on their lunch break, seeing the festivities is enough.

"I just want to spend a lot of time on Georgia Street interacting with outsiders," said Haselhorst.
"I’m very excited about it all," said Mauk.
