Former Colts' QB Arrested On Drunk Driving Charges

Former Indianapolis Colts' Quarterback Blair Kiel was arrested over the weekend in Noblesville on charges of drinking and driving.

Officers said they pulled over Kiel after they spotted him crossing over the center line on Greenfield Avenue at the intersection of Maryland Road. He failed several field sobriety tests according to Noblesville police. He later tested .17 according to a blood alcohol test.

Kiel faces charges of Operating a Vehicle with a BAC of .15% or more and Operating a Vehicle while Intoxicated - Endangerment.

Kiel was arrested back in September 2009 at an Indianapolis Indians game for allegedly hitting a police officer when asked to leave.

He played two seasons with the Colts from 1986-1987. He also had a successful college career as starting quarterback for Notre Dame. He attended Columbus East High School in Columbus, Indiana.
