We almost managed to get through this entire week rain free, but eventually something had to come through Central Indiana. Luckily, temperatures will be warm enough here in the Circle City to keep this precipitation liquid. Light rain showers should start moving in between 8-10 PM. Rainfall becomes likely after midnight.

The low pressure system slows down as it arrives to Central Indiana and this will keep rainfall chances in for Saturday morning. This is actually our best chance for rain and we could even see heavy showers at times. Here in the city, rainfall amounts range between .25" to .40" when you look at the average of a few weather models. Rainfall becomes more scattered by Saturday evening and we should only see a few sprinkles going into Super Bowl Sunday!

Skies will be mostly cloudy for Super Bowl Sunday and temperatures should come in around 46°F. This is still above average for this time of year in Central Indiana. The weather stays dry through Wednesday but colder air will probably sneak in by mid week.
