Vicky McKinley says teens in Brownsburg playing "The Choking Game" are out of control.
"A couple of kids last winter went to the ER because of it, it's called bare knuckle fighting," said McKinley.
Her 13-year-old son Sam suffered a bloody nose and other injuries June 25th after a 15-year-old boy walked up to him not far from his house and put him in a headlock.
"He was totally unprovoked. The kid came up from behind my son without his knowledge and put him in the double arm headlock to choke him. My son turned purple and his eyes rolled back in his head and he passed out." McKinley says her son then fell face forward onto the street.

The fifteen-year-old who choked her son was preliminarily charged with battery but the boy's father says a Hendricks County Judge dismissed the charge.
"Did my son get involved in this altercation? yes, he admitted to that," said the father of the 15-year-old.

Fox 59 News is not identifying the boy because he is a juvenile. The father said his son hasn't been involved in choking games before but teens in the neighborhood tell Fox 59 News the 15-year-old has choked other boys.
"My son could have died," said McKinley. "One of the other boys with them, the same boy choked him but it was in front of his father and he was gagging and the Dad made him release him."
McKinley says the boys are mimicking wrestlers doing ultimate fighting. Websites show teens and parents trying to raise awareness about the dangers of playing around with various choking games. Some teens are doing it for a rush right before passing out.
"It's really frightening, really frightening," said Hannah Nichols who lives down the street from where the most recent incident took place.
