At approximately 8:40, Friday morning a crash occurred near the 2000 block of east US 136 in Hendricks County.
An eastbound silver Chrysler PT Cruiser went left of center for unknown reasons and struck a westbound white Chevrolet Trainblazer.

The driver of the PT Cruiser, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Trailblazer, was transported by helicopter to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis with leg injuries.
Her two children were also taken to Methodist Hospital by ambulance in the company of their father.
The investigation is ongoing and a Toxicology Report is pending although alcohol is not suspected as a contributing factor.
