At 7:55 Wednesday morning firefighters from the Indianapolis Fire Department were dispatched on a box alarm to Pricilla Ave. for a reported house fire.
Upon arrival crews from IFD Station 24 and Station 10 found heavy fire and smoke pouring from a 1 story wood frame residence.

No one was home at the time of the fire although it is unclear whether or not anyone was actively living at the house.
Firefighters made a fast attack on the fire and had it under control within 20 minutes.
No injuries were reported, either firefighter or civilian. IFD/IMPD fire investigation units were called to the scene and are at this time investigating cause and origin.
Battalion Chief John Linn called the house a total loss and estimated the damage at $70,000.
