2nd Suspect in Johnson County House Robbery Arrested
At approximately 9:30pm on July 1st at 12 North Temple, Indianapolis, the United States Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force arrested Bobby Jones. Jones was being sought on a warrant out of Johnson County for burglary resulting in serious bodily injury, a class A felony. Jones also had a re-arrest warrant out of Marion County for battery and resisting arrest.

The Johnson County Sheriff's Department developed information that Bobby Jones, along with another suspect broke into a home in the Golden Grove Estates on June 21, 2009 in the Center Grove area.

Johnson County asked the United States Marshals Service to assist in the location and apprehension of Jones. Throughout the course of the investigation, information was developed that Jones could be staying in an abandoned house.

Through a series of interviews, an area was narrowed down where Jones was thought to be. Upon inspection of the house where Jones was arrested, a pillow and blankets were visible from the back window. Jones was found hiding in the basement where he was arrested.
