Summer Camps are being interrupted across the United States by the N1 H1 virus and also now in Indiana.

Camp Livingston, a residential Jewish Camp in Bennington, Indiana, closed temporarily as a result of five confirmed cases of the H1N1 influenza A virus.

Also "Jerry's Kids" accustomed to attending the annual MDA Muscular Dystrophy camp at Bradford Woods are out of luck this year.

Parents of MD children are disappointed and many of the children themselves are said to be devastated.

"It's the right decision to cancel camp it really is because these children have fragile respiratory systems, but I hope they allow the children who will technically be too old next year to return anyway," parent Walt Kuene told FOX 59 News.

Camp is still going strong in Carroll County at Camp Tecumseh YMCA.

Counselors say the 450 children who come every week are being watched closely and hand sanitizer is a must.

"It doesn't take much effort to pass around a bottle of Germ-X around a table so it usually goes pretty well," Counselor Adam Schick said.
