Hendricks County Sheriff's Department is on the scene of a bad accident that happened around 7:30am on North State Road 39 in Lizton.
A 2000 Mercury Sable going north on State Road 39 crossed the center line for unknown reasons according to a witness who was behind the car.
The car hit a dump truck out of Pittsboro that was hauling dirt.
The driver of the Mercury Sable is 17 year old Jared T. May out of Lizton. He was airlifted to Wishard Hospital with serious injuries including severe leg and arm injuries. No word as to whether or not these injuries were life threatening.
